Sin embargo; lo sucedido no paró a los miembros de S.T.A.R.S., que siguieron insistiendo en el peligro en potencia que suponía el T-virus, lo que les llevó a descubrir que actualmente la compañía estaba investigando en una versión mejorada denominada G-virus, ellos Intentaron sacar a la luz la noticia pero, por extraños motivos, no tuvieron éxito, así que decidieron atacar al problema de raíz, y emprendieron un viaje a Europa, hacia la mismísima central de Umbrella.
